What do I need?

A computer running Zyndi (a Mac, or a Linux server) and the Zyndi app on your phone or tablet. The Computer app is in early access: email us to get it.

Pairing your phone

• On your computer, choose Pair a phone. It shows a QR code and a one-time link.
• In the app, tap Pair with your computer and scan the code, or open the link on the phone.
• Confirm the computer's name. Your Bots appear in Chats.

The phone must be able to reach the computer: on the same Wi-Fi, or both on your Tailscale network. Pairing codes expire after ten minutes; ask your computer for a new one if needed.

Common questions

The app says my computer is offline.

Check that Zyndi is running on the computer and that the phone is on the same network (or Tailscale is connected). The app reconnects on its own when the computer is reachable again.

Which AI models can my Bots use?

Whatever accounts your computer has: for example a Claude or ChatGPT subscription signed in on the computer, or API keys you add in Settings. The phone never needs its own keys.

How do I unpair a phone?

In the app, open Settings and choose Forget this computer. On the computer, you can also revoke the phone from its paired devices; it is disconnected immediately.

Incoming calls from Bots

Calls are off until you turn on Incoming agent calls in Settings. Bots can only call within the limits your computer enforces, and you can block calls per Bot.
