Privacy Policy

Zyndi is made by zynd sarl ("we"). This policy covers the Zyndi apps for iOS, iPadOS and Android. In short: the app talks only to the computer you pair it with. We do not run a server that receives your conversations, we do not have accounts, and we do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking data.

Where your data goes

When you pair the app with a computer running Zyndi, messages, files, photos, voice and other content you send travel over an end-to-end encrypted connection to that computer. The computer is yours: it stores your Bots and conversations and decides what happens with them. We cannot see this content.

Your computer sends prompts and attachments to the AI services you set up on it (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) to produce your Bots' answers and voice conversations. Those services handle that data under their own terms and privacy policies.

What stays on your device

• The keys that identify your phone to your computer, kept in the device's secure storage.
• A local copy of recent conversations, drafts and settings so the app works offline.

Forgetting a computer in Settings deletes its keys from the device. Uninstalling the app removes everything.

Permissions

• Camera: to scan the pairing code, and to take photos you choose to send.
• Microphone: for voice calls with your Bots, dictation and voice memos, only while you use them.
• Photos and files: only the items you pick to send or save.
• Notifications and calls: if you turn on incoming agent calls, the app registers with Apple's push service (or Google's on Android) and gives the push token to your computer only, so it can ring you.

Children

Zyndi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices and rights

Because your content lives on your own computer and device, you control it directly: delete conversations or Bots, unpair the phone, or uninstall the app. We hold no personal data about you through the app. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
